I grew up listening to Thin Lizzy. One of the bands that steered me toward metal. I saw them in concert on their Chinatown tour in 1980.

A big yes.

Emerald
Cold Sweat
Ballad of a Hard Man
For Those Who Love to Live
Jailbreak
Got to Give it Up
Massacre
Black Boys on the Corner
Romeo and the Lonely Girl
Baby Please Don't Go

Hmm I only named 10 favorites, could probably name 20 easily. Criminally underrated band. Phil Lynott is one of hard rock's greatest ever songwriters. Like Queen, quite a bit bigger in UK than the US. A big influence on early 80s HR/NWOBHM bands, Iron Maiden perhaps most noticeably.
