Default Metallica 1996-1997

Your opinion about the Heavy Rock band Metallica which released 2 albums in 1996 and 1997 called "Load" and "Reload".
No need to compare this band with the other act which used to play Thrash metal in the eighties... everybody knows they should never have used the same monicker.

Personnaly I really appreciate these two albums.

Well, I didn't like either of them. I just can't stand the production.

No, it's just anytime I hear something from the albums I know it could be faster or heavier. Kinda feel's like the production is holding the songs back. The band is just too weak for me to listen to in this time of their career.

Sound good to me. The only METALLICA album I don't like is "St Anger". From "Load", "Fuel" is a kick ass song.

When Avril Lavigne covers your songs.. You know there's a problem.

And I bet Metallica were flattered by her! They were lauding Bullet For My Valetine (AKA Shittest band ever) when they covered Creeping Death (Which was actually a good song before they came and fucked it up)

They were actually. They had some kinda ceremony/concert right before the release of St. Anger. Avril Lavigne performed "Fuel" and SUm 41 and some other lame bands covered other Metallica songs.

If you want a good laugh look it up on youtube. Lars is air drumming along with Avril haha.
