Metallica ...And Justice for all and beyond were the dons. Megadeth have always stayed true but Megadeth's biggest downfall is their live performances.
Dave Mustaine's voice sounds better on album than at a live gig.

Technically Mustaine is an excellent rythm guitarist.

For me it's gotta be Megadeth. I'll admit that in terms of instrumental quality, I like the Black Album and prior more than Megadeth's comparable albums, but as far as vocals go, Mustaine's snarl-esque singing really does something for me. And of course, the last few albums that Metallica put out really didn't impress me in the least, whereas Megadeth's last few seemed to very well put together.
