| | In my opinion, CRADLE OF FILTH were meant to be commercial while DIMMU BORGIR just became commercial and are still playing respectable music. So CRADLE OF FILTH is worse.

Dimmu Borgir does play some good music occasionally. But its not really what i usually listens to.

I could listen to Anorexia Nervosa with the same effort and be much happier.

| | Cradle of Filth, I have never liked or will never like, they are too big of sell outs, Dimmu Borgir, isn't that big at selling out, they still make incredible music, and also Jan Axel Bloomberg was the drummer for Stromblast which is a good album, I'd say COF is worse. |

I never understood why these bands are always assimilated, they sound totally different imo, the only thing is that both sell many albums.

I would have to say COF too, though, as Dimmu Borgir haven't always been popular, and they didn't become it on purpose. |
