| | As mentioned a while ago, Helheim has a new album planned, 'The journeys and experiences of death'. At the moment we are doing a preproduction of the album to sort out and remove bad ideas, and to develop the good ones.
"This is a new way of working for our part, and we believe that we will manage to reach a higher level of perfection and see the music in another context before doing the final recording." - Hrymr
We have not specified any date for release yet, but our main goal is late spring 2006. We will not release it before we are totally satisfied.

| | SAXON drummer Nigel Glockler has posted the following message on his official web site:
"The second leg of the tour is over. Everyone is back at home chilling out before the next run of gigs. Unfortunately, we lost our tour bus driver during the recent break — Les was rushed to hospital in Essen and sadly died on Sunday the 16th of October. RIP Les — all the band and crew pass on their condolences to his family.
"The Niggster/Monster performed brilliantly — what a great sound that kit has got!! Hopefully the next Premier kit will sound just as good! Tried out some RMV heads at Edinburgh and they were just what the doctor ordered!
"Kevin Mackie, the inventor of the Duallist pedal, came along to the same gig and we imbibed a few pints of Deuchars IPA in the pub next door after the show which, incidentally, got cut short by over-zealous management/security people turning off the power — t*ss*rs!!
"Anyway, the whole leg of the tour was great — thanks to all who turned up!!
"Looking forward to seeing MOTÖRHEAD and URIAH HEEP/ASIA at the end of November, then it's off again for three weeks leading up to Christmas!"
As previously reported, SAXON were originally slated to embark on an American tour in May but ended up cancelling the dates as a result of the group's singer, Biff Byford, wanting to stay by his family's side after his house in the Normandie area of France burned down.
SAXON have been confirmed for the Sweden Rock kick-off concert on December 3 at Globen Annexet in Stockholm, Sweden. Also appearing on the bill are CLAWFINGER and KROKUS.
SAXON are continuing to tour in support of their latest CD, "Lionheart", available now on SPV Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Killing Ground" features artwork by Paul R. Gregory, who has previously worked with the group on the now classic "Crusader" album.(official site)

As previously reported, SAXON were originally slated to embark on an American tour in May but ended up cancelling the dates as a result of frontman Biff Byford wanting to stay by his family's side after his house in the Normandie area of France burned down. In that incident, Biff, his wife and their children got out of the house at the very last minute and nobody was hurt.
SAXON — who were recently rejoined by drummer Nigel Glockler — have been confirmed for the Sweden Rock kick-off concert on December 3 at Globen Annexet in Stockholm, Sweden. Also appearing on the bill are CLAWFINGER and KROKUS.
