Enslaved from Haugesund Norway. their early lyrics were written in islandic/ old norse and their name supposedly taken from an immortal demo track titled " enslaved in rot ". To me , their finest moments are on early albums such as Eld, with 793 ( slaget om lindisfame ) being a highlight along with tracks on Vikingligr veldi cd. I would say my favorite is Eld

I love Enslaved's earlier albums but Ruun will be laid next to me in my grave. I love the Ruun album.
