Skumlove is an industrial metal band from Hollywood California...

they are a 5-piece band that write their own material...

the lead singer Skum worked for Glenn Danzig for 13+ years,while his band

was going thru it's growing pains and incarnations...

Oh my god, they sound like Deftones mixed with Puddle of Mudd...I think they suck...

I think they're a bit too rock-ish for me, but they remind me of Peter Tägtgren's (Hypocrisy, ex-Bloodbath [SWE], ex-The Abyss) one-man project Pain (SWE) of which I own a few albums. He's one hell of a vocalist, though. Pain mostly has clean vocals like Skumlove, but Peter incorporates some nice, deep growls and breath-taking screams. Take a listen here.

Haha, maybe I should have phrased myself differently, but I actually meant Peter Tägtgren.

Anyway, I recommend you to check out Pain, or perhaps Hypocrisy.

They will be in Toronto on nov.9th at the Reverb,and

on Nov.10th they will be at the Katacombs in Montreal...
