Default Fear Factory

A lot of people consider Fear Factory to be an actual Industrial band, but it seems like a hybrid of Metal and Industrial. When I think of Fear Factory, some of the best songs from Demanufacture and Obsolete come to mind. But when I look at stuff like Remanufacture the dozens of remixes of their songs, you can really see that Industrial influence. Between the general feel that they have and what people perceive them to be, what do all of you think? Is this in the wrong section or is Fear Factory Industrial enough to be in here? I think they are, but that's me

Like SYL many people judge industrial because of samples etc.
Early on FF would have been classed as death metal I would have thought. Thats what makes bands like this great- their ability to merge all types of music into one great package

thier last records is going to show them in a new light, as a band that has their shit together and also as a band that will be heard whether people or music critics like it or not.

but it's a little more concentrated and focused towards them and the thought of the coming of industrial in many ways individually and on a grand scale.
