well, okay...but one question though...
how come is it that all "faithful" slayer fans carve slayer somewhere on their body...i mean surely...slayer is good...but not THAT extreme...so how come slayer, and not any other band...who in this case are far more worthy and extreme???
i never understood that point...

I think Slayer is great, I own some cd's of them and they're good (except Divine Intervention, which is just average)

heavy metal and thrash both sound completely different.

heavy metal is moderately aggressive with a rocknroll edge to it, where as
thrash is pure aggression and getting a lot closer to death metal.

its like comparing slayer to iron maiden, there is just no point because
both bands take their sound in opposite directions.

you may like one band more or one genre more, but thats only because its ur pref.
In the end it doesn't make ether better than the other.

my main point is: slayer cant 'rule all HM', because they arnt heavy metal to begin with lol.
