I guess Metallian is more of the "See me I'm in your face, NOTICE MEEEE!" kind of person. Pathetic... I know, but what can you do?

black metal and death metal
| thanks for once again solidifying my point. Slayer's lyrics are for the most part absurd. The same can be said for 90% of black/death metal. I just figured a decent writer would realize how lacking slayer's lyrics truly are.
Secondly, when did anyone say Maiden was for pussies? |

| | Re: why slayer rules over all heavymetal Now, if I am a bad writer or not is up to the readers. My publisher thought not and neither those that has read my book this far. It is always in the eye of the beholder wouldn't you say? I like slayers lyrics but that doesn't mean that every one else does. In my humble opinion there are two bands that will always sound the same, there will never be a chock when they release an album. Slayer is one and ac-dc is the other. With these two bands you know what you will get when you buy their cd's. When I buy a slayer album it is because I want to hear slayer's sinister riffs and this far they have always delivered. I love Metallica but they have made some real bad decisions when it comes to experimenting.

| Well, this explains your love for slayer lyrics. When you said you were a writer, I assumed you wrote about something that was even a least bit worthwhile. But Zombies, Especially Space Zombies makes my original comment to you that much more reasonable. |

| | Re: why slayer rules over all heavymetal Slayer suck. The riffs are very lackluster, the solos are wild spasms of tuneless whammy abuse, Toms vocals have no character, and all in all, the music is so boring. They seem to think being heavy is enough: it very clearly isn't.
