| |  FORUM CHANGES - please read
hi all,
as you've probably noticed, the site has undergone some changes. The main nuke site has been disabled, and the forum converted into a vbulletin type forum, which is far more user friendly, and has way better facilities.
all moderators have been reasigned to the boards that they were moderators of on the old forum. if anyone hasnt got the right permissions, please email:
the forum skin is being redesigned, but i've put a couple in for you to use in the meantime. hopefully the new one should be complete in the next day or so.
if anyone comes accross any faults or problems with the forum, please can they either post it in this board, or email using the email address above. please include as much info about the problem as possible, and we'll try to fix it.
if anyone has any questions, feel free to post them here. i'll be keeping an eye out for the next wee while, to make sure you guys have a smooth change over to the new forum type.
finally, all logins should be the same, but if anyone has any problems, just yell.

And what is your ambitions/vision with this?
Is this gonna be some mainstream metal forum promoting mallcore?
Will we still be able to talk in the same manner as we always have? We haven't been plagued with dictator-like rules before, is that gonna happen now that some completely strange people took over this place?
Who the hell ARE you guys even? We are left without any real info here, you should be able to do better than that.

hi there,
i'm not the new owner of the forum, i'm just the person soing the web design work. but as far as i know, nothing will change regarding how the forum is run. the same people will still be moderating and keeping an eye on it.
the only real change is that the outter shell part of the site (the nuke part) is being disabled, to give the forum the main focus, and make the site a faster, more smooth running feel to it.
im sure owen can comment here and help clarify things though

Well, I have to admit that I was quite sceptical at first because it came all of a sudden. But it is good with something new once in a while, and I like that MT is just a forum, because we didn't submit near enough news to compete with news sites such as for example Blabbermouth.
Also, the new forum really is more user friendly. I experienced this first hand when I had to shut up DrownwingP00LOWNZ, because he so far had posted the same shit about some Drowning Pool video 22 times. With a few clicks he wasn't able to post anything for 10 days and all his spam was deleted. If this happened in the old MT we would have to delete everything manually.
So yeah, in the end I think the changes will be better for MT. |

Can some-one please help me. This new site is great and all, but I can't edit my avatar. I noticed Alfader's is on, but not many others - Is this still a work in progress, or am I doing something wrong?

hi everyone 
ive set the group permissions so people can have avatars. unfortunately the permissions didnt carry over in the conversion, so ive had to do it manually. (theres always some tweeking needed after a conversion)
if people can try and stick to the 120 x 120 pixel limit, that'd be awsome.
if theres anything else needed, feel free to yell (sorry, had to have the drums)
