Because there is A LOT of talk going on with bands of this 'calibre' in constant mention!!!

Sorry, but to me, I read 'METALthrone' and there is no room for the likes of these bands, and I did read on one of the Threads, a list of rules stating something along these lines.

Can you clarify if there IS such a rule. And if there is (if there isn't can we make one?) can it be made more prominent on the page?

If there's not, well. . . . . . . . theres not, and I'll shutup and just put up with all the Fag talk!

It was a rule made by the mods long ago. Those mods long since flaked out.

Again, if you have a problem with someone's posts, use the Report Button. But I would think people would just Not Click the threads they don't have an interest in. Nu-Metal or otherwise.

Its when these said people post in threads they SHOULDN'T be that things are getting out of hand! It pisses me off when your talking about something with a group of other like minded people, and someone comes in and starts asking about Slipknot and Emo bands!

Can I ask if it was a rule why it flaked out? I think if it WAS a rule, it should be brought back into force! Because I don't think having Metal people and Nu-Metal/Emo people together is a good mix!

It just really pisses me off! Its at the point where decent Forums are now basically limited to 'Metal-Archives' which does not support this at all! All the 'supposed' Metal sites are ALL letting themselves be over run with this shit, and once it begins, they swarm in in force, and force the Metal people out, as what Metal person wants to talk about Emo crap??? I really think this site should start enforcing some rules!

Well, rules are rules whether these mods flaked out or not! I don't see why its up to the users on the site to have to report posts. Why can't we just make these rules clear again, and report users who go against these rules rather than the posts, which in all honesty, shouldn't exist if the rules were enforced, or even existant for that matter.

The only point I am trying to make Sirk is that the site is a METAL site. And it is a METAL site because of the guidelines that were first put into place! It should be up to the current Mods to enforce those rules, even if the Mods who came up with these rules are gone. Otherwise the site really would benefit from a total overhaul, and maybe a change of name! Because when people like me (pain in the arses ) join, we get upset when the site is just like all the other ones, when it comes across as being a METAL site.

Is it only because you really don't care what is discussed here? And do you even listen to Metal? Just interested in knowing! Once again I am only bringing up points that I feel are letting the site down.
