I absolutely love Type O, even though Pete Steele is a moody, negative, miserable old git

I just love the atmosphere of their music, it always has a really intense passion about it, whether that takes the form of anger, or love. A lot of their stuff makes me laugh too, it's just stupidly hilarious!
My fave albums? It's a toss up between 'Bloody Kisses' and 'World Coming Down'. I also really love their first effort 'Slow, Deep And Hard' and the live one, I like 'October Rust' but that's generally seen as their 'commercial' album. I've not yet heard the latest one, and didn't think much of the one before that.
Recently though I've been listening to their best of album a lot, plus a compilation of covers of their songs, most of which are pretty damn good. They seem to have gone wrong at some point with their last two albums; if they can work out where and can improve it, bring back the old Type O, that would be fucking brilliant, but if they can't I guess they'll just end up going a bit shit like various other bands have tended to after a while
