Tristania is my favorite band in their genre and country. My favorite album is World of Glass (still haven't heard Ashes) and the song Crushed Dreams.

World of Glass is my favourite album by them too
Ashes is a great album, buy it but don`t judge it on the first few listens, It takes awhile to grow on most Tristania fans

Yeah, I heard it's a lot different but not a bad album by any means. I have heard the song The Wretched now twice and both times I didn't realise it was Tristania playing, until the radio program host said "that one was Tristania - The Wretched, from their new album Ashes" and I was like what the hell, it sounded more like a random black metal song to me. I am going to buy the album as soon as I can.

I used to be in LOVE with them!
Like I seriously thought they were the single greatest thing ever!
Now I fucking hate them!
I hate the whole opera metal concept.
Gah makes me wanna hurl....

They're alright.. I really didn't care for their latest release that much, though.
