That's interesting, what made you change your mind? Most of their songs have the opera metal concept and it's pretty hard to avoid while listening to them, you know.

Well I stopped listening to them for awhile cas my computer crashed like 5 times or so in a week
So I never got around to downloading them again. I started listen to music that scream like Heaven Shall Burn, Caliban, black dehlia stuff like that and when I got around to downloading them again i was just like damn......
Also theyre CD ashes was right bad! Like when I used to like them, that cd made me lose abit of interest

But hey look its all good if you guys like it

Tristania is such a great band I have to admit that Illumination was a bit of a let down but all the rest of the albums were spectacular. To agree with nearly everyone else World of Glass is the absolute best. I could look at Vibeke all day so sad she left.

I love Tristania. Especially Widow's Weeds, Beyond the Veil, and World of Glass.

I was never really interested in their early 'gothic' works. Ashes came and that was incredibly dull. Then came Illumination and for the first time I perked up thinking, hey this band aren't half bad.

From the samples I've heard I really like Mary. She could really make Tristania into a great band in my eyes.

I've only heard Ashes, it's okay I suppose, only really liked the first song.
