What's the best Finnish Gothic Metal band???

What do you think of this finnish wave of Gothic Metal, bands like Charon, Poisonblack, earlier Sentenced, HIM, Entwine, Negative, The 69 Eyes, To/Die/For...
Are they trying to create a new style of metal (HIM does, the Love Metal)? or they are just other Gothic Metal bands???

I chose early Sentenced, even though early sentenced was like death doom/ melo death.

Poisonblack of course, best finish Gothic/Doom Metal there is.

I voted for Poisonblack. it's very good band i like their music but the best finnish gothic metal band is For My Pain

I voted for Entwine...I was going to vote for Sentenced if it wasnt only for early Sentenced.And Poisonblack is great but you cant that is the best band in Finland with only one release

HIM is the best i think....even though they are pretty underrated in the metal underground....they always seem to hit the right notes...its popular music....it isnt really a metal band anymore...but i love them.....
second place goes for Sentenced

How ironic, I'm a (gothic) metal listener from Finland and have never liked any of the bands mentioned. Though sometimes I get the feeling I actually should be listening to Sentenced because they're so widely appreciated and one of the few big metal bands around here. But it just never hits me. It's somehow too simple, too melodic perhaps? Well, at least the newer material (and the earlier isn't gothic :wink

... And that seems to be the case with the other options on this poll, too (except for Him, which I don't even consider as metal).

The gothic novel, of the early nineteenth century, was responsible above all else for the term gothic being associated with a mood of horror, darkness and the supernatural. They established what horror stereotypes became by featuring graveyards, ruined castles or churches, ghosts, vampires, cursed families, and melodramatic plots.

However,i'm astonished!!cause i've not seen bands with this music influence through this poll.
