Default Doom Metal Recommendations

Ok doom metal fans....I hate doom metal........so far.Pls. excuse me, but the only thing close to doom metal that I have heard is probably Opeth or Satan's Penguins(Doomy Black metal riffs 8O ).....and one album by Candlemass...Doomicus Epicus Metallicus...i found that one horrid....pls. I want to explore all the depths of metal, so I want to try and get into doom metal...so ppl recommend.....
P.S. No 'you haven't heard any doom metal bands and you think it sucks' replies. I know that...

Because you are a beginner, I would highly reccommend:
Slumber (Death Doom band from Sweden), the beauty of this band is that you don't neccesarily have to be a fan of the genre, it has many great melodies and atmosphere that will appeal to people outside of the genre too.

And don't forget "the big three":
Paradise Lost
Anathema
My Dying Bride

Great bands:
Forest Stream
Rapture
Swallow the Sun

I don't know if you can stand extreme slow songs, but if so you can try one of my favorites:
Nortt
