Definitely. Holy Mountain is a classic. Dopesmoker must be heard too, more so for me at least.

There's a lot of good newer doom bands these days. Yob is back together and recording, Buried at Sea are great, and Moss. I've been listening to Sub Templum a lot lately. Moss are definitely a band to watch. They're pushing the genre so much that it almost doesn't even sound like music. I realize that may not sound appealing, but it is.

Thergothon (Monotone and enchanting, forefathers of funeral doom) - Get 'Stream From The Heavens'
Asunder (Heavy, Melancholic, death doom/funeral doom with cello and guttural/chanted vocals) - Recommended 'A Clarion Call' or Split with Graves At Sea
Nortt (Blackened funeral doom, very depressive) - I'd recommend the split with Xasthur, and then continue with 'Gudsforladt'
Skepticism (More funeral doom, very majestic, and tragic) - Recommend Stormcrowfleet
