cradle of filth have always been the mongerers of dark demonic ramblings and hells might itself could not compete with the vocal assault which is dani filths vocal tract. but the latest album 'thornography' is a little lacking in gothic atmosphere. and dani filths voice is a shadow of its former glory. for axample if you compare cthulhu dawn on midian to dirge inferno on thornography. you will notice that danis vocals are alot more forced now. twas written upon the brimstone tablet that the worshippers of the mighty chulhu will be saved from the torment.

First of all, I believe Cradle of Filth is one of the worst bands on the plane. So overrated. Secondly, most people on this forum would agree. Let's make this the offical I hate Cradle of Filth thread.

Cradle of Filth are fucking terrible these days. Their earlier stuff was ALRIGHT, but they have been awful for quite some time now.

cradle of filth has been going steadily downhill. the nymphetamine album completely broke the deal for me with them.
which is sad, because i used to have a lot of respect for them. midian was such an inspired, brilliant album. i miss that COF.
