I've got the live DVD "For the Sake of Revenge". I thought it was pretty good, but then I heard "Reckoning Day". And I wasn't impressed...

I'm a big Sonata Arctica fan, have been since I was introduced to them in mid 2006. Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to see them live because I live in Australia and they haven't toured anywhere near here. I'll be sure to see them at some point, seeing I'll be moving to Europe in about a year.

I've never much liked Ecliptica, but my favourite album of theirs is Silence, followed by Reckoning Night. Unia seemed like a bit of a departure from Reckoning Night, but I still liked it a hell of a lot. I don't think that a lot of people really gave Unia the credit it deserved. Sure, it may have been missing a Wolf and Raven clone track - but does it really matter that much? I'm not so sure.

But, meh, that's just my opinion.

I am also a Sonata Arctica fan, and I like all of their songs but their Silence and Winterheart's Guild albums kick the most ass, also I very much like their new Out in the Fields song. I never heard a band just like Sonata Arctica so they will always have a place in my power metal heart compartment and also Tonny's voice is brutal in a good way
