I don't hate Viking Metal, it's just I don't know much about it. Hell I would love to listin to some Viking Metal but I have no money(I'm poor). I can't buy any new CD's. If I could I would ask you some Viking Metal Bands to start off with so when I get money(Which I will tell you is very rare), I will check some of it out. Give me a list of bands I can start off with, I'll find them.

I don't know well about this type of music but before i begin to listen to some type of it , can someone explain to me why Viking not Norway or FInnish and they have music in english lang?

I began to listen to Metal because of a Power Metal band and I still like it =)

But I'd call myself "Melodic Metaller", not "Power Metaller"... I also like other kinds of Metal but mostly those you are melodic

I find power metal very talented. But ya, i love hammerfall, demons and wizards, stratovarious, blind guardian.


But for those of you who asked for good viking metal bands, my favorite and i think the most talented are Ensiferum (english lyrics) and Finntroll (I think they are Finnish). Very good stuff.

The best songs from ensiferum would have to be lai lai hei, little dreamer, and goblins dance.

Finntroll has a really good one called Trollhammeran.
