i think the glurios burden is a good album qverall but it is not the same level like somthing wicked this way comes, dark saga and monster show.

I've just seen this topic was moved from the Thrash forums. Err... ICED EARTH is Heavy Thrash for me (same construction as Heavy Speed--see other post for details) so it was initially perfectly located by Michael.

yeaa dude this album is amazing. i just ordered the t-shirt for it. i love how they did an american tribute to it. this album is very talented and shaffers guitar style is amazing, i love it. super fast and super deep and heavy. then the vocals add that thrash touch.

Glorious Burden is a terrific album, its their tightest concept album to date and Ripper
did a great job too.

The Ripper is the man, his performance is phenomenal.

Gettysburg alone rapes everything else Iced Earth has done, excluding Dante's Inferno. One of my favorite Iced Earth albums.
