Nightfall in Middle Earth was the first album I heard from them, and continues to be my favorite.

I've heard three of their albums, and oddly I like their first album the best.

I also really like Tales From the Twilight World and Follow The Blind...all their work is incredible though in my opinion. I like them a lot.

Hi metalthroners, I think the greatest albums of Blind Guardian is w/o doubt "follow the blind" and "tales of the twilight...".
Remember: fresh beet and Heavy Metal for cha all!

I feel Imaginations From the Other Side was the culmination of BG's career. That was their peak in my eyes, and their last album to have some fucking balls man.

Since then, Hansi has taken the bard theme to far and now I just find their songs obnoxious. They have become, for lack of a better term, "Noodly" haha. Theres way to much going on, which isn't always a bad thing, but in BG's case it is.

But in their defense, Nightfall in Middle Earth is still a good album, but lacks balls.
A Night at the Opera is overproduced crap for the most part, yet "And then there was silence" is one of the best BG songs ever. A Twist in the myth is just boring for me.

My favorite Blind Guardian album would have to be Somewhere Far Beyond. Followed Closely by Nightfall in Middle-Earth.

Imaginations From the Other Side is next, followed by Follow the Blind, and then Battalions of Fear. Never heard anything off Tales from the Twilight World, and I don't like anything newer than Nightfall. XD

Forgotten tales was the first one I had from them and that's an amazing cd, but my favourite would be Imaginations from the other side. I don't remember on which cd And then there was silence stood but that's one of the greatest songs ever IMO

Imaginations from the Other Side is definitely up there. But most listened to has to be Nightfall in Middle Earth.
