yes,it's true.. The Red Chord became one of the most talked about bands in the underground. After over 400 shows across 14 countries for their first release, "Fused Together In Revolving Doors", and moving approximately 25,000 CD's worldwide.i told you to hear the new records of them,"Clients",it's great!

Fused Together in Revolving doors is one of the most brutally chaotic and heavy cd's I've ever heard. You feel beat to death after listening. Though it's not really my style, I still respect them for that. Clients was a pretty big let down for me, doesn't really compare with their previous works. Its slowed down and more rhythmic, and is missing the elements that first got my attention.

they aren't grind, but i like them. their new songs seem to be even heavier, which is always a good thing. i saw them live not too long ago and they put on a pretty good show, but were destroyed by Gwar.

well they aren't "pure" grind. Like OP said they combine grind with hardcore. But one can easily see the grind influence by listening to their music...

oh and GWAR pretty much destroys anyone

No doubt they are part of the "metalcore" scene which for the most part sucks balls. But I think they are better than most such bands
