Default Favorite Iced Earth Lyrics

Out of all the Iced Earth songs, what song has the best lyrics?

Almost anything off Burnt Offerings, which is lyrically my favorite Iced Earth album. From the aggressiveness of the title track and Brainwashed to the emotional tragedies of Last December and Diary, not forgetting the epic journey of Dante's Inferno, these lyrics are thoughtful and interesting with meaning and depth in the way they are written. It's hard to pick one, but I think I have to go with Dante's Inferno, which is my all-time favorite Iced Earth song in every respect. I have memorized the whole bunch of its lyrics by heart.

It's pretty stupid that Jon S. said that the album Burnt Offerings was his worst project...Bullshit. I think the lyrics are great and it's there best album vocaly.

I heard the years 1992-1995 were really hard times for Iced Earth because there were many line-up changes and other problems with the band, and maybe Jon Schaffer thinks their musical creativity suffered much because of this, and therefore the Burnt Offerings album has failed according to the man himself. I don't agree with him even though there are 4 Iced Earth albums I like better than this one.

On-topic:
A Question of Heaven is a gorgeous piece of (not only) lyrical talent. This is among the first Iced Earth songs I heard and it was partly because of the lyrics. I just had to know what kind of a song has such incredible lyrics, my mind was immediately blown away.

Anything off from Burnt Offerings or Something Wicked This Way Comes...
