That one dude posted a topic of his first time on stage and "inspired" me to ask others what their first time onstage. Did you mess up, was it a disaster, was it cool, etc.

Mine was when I was 13 for a talent show. I messed up a lot but no one seemed to notice so I kept playing (electric guitar) and ended up winning first place. It was just me, no band at that time.

My frist time on "stage" was in the 10th grade when I was the lead singer in a punk band. We played at the local "Cristain pool hall" where people were not allowed to smoke or drink or swaer (im not kidding this kind of stuff is for real in small town texas) any way we bashed our way thourh five songs and a Clash cover. One of our songs was called "I want to be a communist" and we drop sevreal F-bombs needless to say we where asked to not come back.

Well, my first time was 2 weeks and 5 days ago and was a great success as some of u have read on my thread!

Yeah the only time I've ever been on stage is for nativity plays. I got the lead on one story to do with 'the fourth wise man'. I have no idea whether its in Christian mythology but it was based round a book as I remember the illustrations. Who'd have thought I would have got into black metal!!! But yeah I don't like school plays. I'd rather play brutal black metal on stage.
