i BELIEVE IN GOD
i dont go to church, i dont quote the holy book
but i believe that god is A true and rightious power in this universe
(NOTICE THE A IN THAT SENTANCE, not saying he is the only one)
And i listen to Satanic black metal.

Iam a Hindu by birth and I respect Hinduism.I wont say that I believe in God or Gods for that matter,we have a number of a Gods and Goddesses.The picture I use in my signature is Shiva,the god of Destruction.

I'm an Ásatrú, and somewhat anti-religious, at least when it comes to Abrahamic religions. I don't think there's anything good about Christianity, Islam or Judaism, quite the contrary.

It is almost impossible to deny the presence of a force or power. But I know it as nature, the various gods and goddesses being just the personifications of this power. Many people believe in this 'god' as you call it, as being in two forms, one good and another evil. I have never though of it as being two, for me, it's just one and it's beyond good or evil. You know, it's like the question of good and bad does not arise, it's above all that, like it is always right whatever it does, it just cannot be wrong. That's my religion as I know it.

I believe in God, Christ and the holy ghost.

I don't go to church because there isn't a preacher around here worth listening to.

and I believe the Bible was ment for guidance and motovation when life brings you down. Not for standards for living and rules to go by.
And It was ment for those with an open mind, or else you get those damn fanatics LOL.

Sounds like rubbish to me. I don't understand how anyone can actually believe that there's some unknown "force" out there, which controls everything. I guess you could call me a realistic person, I rely more on stuff than can be scientifically proven. To me, religion is the stuff that brainwashing and cults are made of, it's a simple way to twist peoples eyes into perceiving what you want them to perceive.

Of course there's a religion like the Norse mythology, and that's one of the few that I feel doesn't really brainwash you into having a certain opinion of things.

Maybe my opinion applies best to the Abrahamic religions, like Alfader mentioned earlier.
