I'm not really a movie guy myself but lately I've seen a bunch:
The Punisher
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Collaterol
SAW
Suspect Zero

Good stuff.

Edit - tonight im seeing the new star wars!

I thought Saw was OK and kept the interset up. The only other one of those I've seen was the Punisher. The earlier version with Dolph L. craps all over it. I think I'll wait for the crowds to die down before I see Star Wars. I recently saw a movie called Scarecrow gone wild - it was terrible, especially when it starred Ken Shamrock - I kept on expecting submission moves on supernatural scarecrows...

Ok just got home from Starwars. The way the plot was put together was brilliant, and I recommend it. I won't go on and spoil anything

Episode 3 was great. Definately the best out of the new 3. 1 sucked and 2's editing was choppy and not well planned.

Haven't seen Amityville Horror, I'm usually disappointed by most of the new horror flicks. Besides most of my money goes into the car recently (Ep3 was the exception).

Have seen Collateral. In my top 5 of all time now. Excellent movie and Tom Cruise nailed it.

Hitch Hikers was pretty good. Read the books when I was a kid, and it was nice to see it all put together on the screen. Good effort

Havnt seen StarWars III yet, but it better be better than the last 2 as they sucked royally!

One I found surprisingly good was 50 First Dates. I normally avoid anything by Adam Sandler (expect Happy Gilmor) but this one was a good laugh.

You know the BBC originally released HHGTTG as as a TV series in 1981? It has had a cult following ever since. I have the DVD of the original series and some of the special effect are really cheap!

I look forward to seeing the new movie soon.

I'm actually kind of looking forward to getting the book and reading it to see how it measures up to the movie.

The books are absolute classics. I think it's the only book that's ever made me laugh ... but then again, I haven't exaclty read a whole lot of books

By the way, I saw Starwars in the theatre again Saturday night, still just as good. In my opinion, better than episodes one and two put together.
