I dunno, Brazil are pretty good. I think that it was bad luck that we got pooled with them, lol. I was quite impressed by our 3-1 victory over Japan. With 8 minutes to go, you think that there's barely enough time for an equalizer, let alone another two goals for the win!
What does everyone think about the qualification process? Countries like Trinidad & Tobago (are they any good? lol) made it in, but Greece didn't. It kind of sucks in a way that the qualification is regional. Although one good thing about that is that there will always be countries from all around the world. Thoughts?
Well after every team had played at least one game , btw today is the turn of Spain , i saw that 2 teams are in good form, ARgentina and Italy. They both have great football match and it was a pleasant game.
Today , there will be German vs poland and if poland loose again it have a little or no chance to pass for the next round. It will be the first team out from WC. It is pitty but that is football.
About the qualification, it sucks . See the difference between African qualification system and Europe.
I have noticed that African teams are pretty good and dangerous aswell - Argentina, Portugal and Italy had to be very busy not letting those African teams strike a goal. I guess they didnt think that they might be a big threat to them. But if we speak about WorldCup overall, I dont have a favorite team - I just enjoy a good game and good golas. Didnt see yesterdays games (were in Metallica show) but I have watched almost every other game since the beginning of the WC in Germany.
i was amazed...Even though they were going to win...Japan was a bit of disappointment. G. Hidding is a good coach, without him Australia couldn't beat Japs. Next world cup the Russians are gonna get coached by him.
My interests are on Mexico and Germany (been a fan since 1990's)
