christ! please start more threads pointing out the obvious. we get it! cof aren't BM. everyone knows. nobody cares.
and stop all this nonsense like "cof are extreme gothic metal" or "symphonic death". if you must label it, "symphonic metal" pretty much covers it. its not gothic or extreme at all.
COF were in this months terrorizer and they were saying how this trying to label bands with weird styles is dumb. thats sensible. don't call it "extreme symphonic gothic metal" because thats not ture at all and it sounds lame. they're pretty unique in their sound so just call the COF. i mean nobody yaps on about what to label iron maiden as, they are just 'maiden'. |

Actually, Cradle was considered death metal in their demo. Then moved onto a more raw-atmosphere black. Now it's .. I guess you could call it Nu-Black metal?
It's the metal that noobs come to, when presented the black metal genre. It was the first heavy band I listened to |

yeah, the demo stuff is actally pretty good. pretty standard death mtal for that time but still good.
i still don't think they were ever black metal. the closest they came is there 'total fucking darkness' demo |
