One of my sisters friends just told me that she thinks Avril Lavigne is punk. And i couldn't convince her of something else, then she asked all HER friends. And they all agreed with her.. I jut lay flat on the ground almost crying from laughter.
Isn't this one of the most ignorant things you have ever heard?

It's like those who call all genres of metal heavy metal or hard rock, or when they want to seem brutal they call slipknot death metal, etc. |

Well, she is considered punk. But think about it. Any new age band is considered new age punk or emo. If not, hard rock. That's just the way music is labeled now.
