I just think you seem to jump the gun. I think about things too, but I don't really see problems with the NP thread, it's not like it's 400 pages. I've seen some that have gained ten pages a day.

I have a plugin for Winamp called (according to the Plugins menu):
Advanced mIRC Intergration Plug-In v2.53

I installed it mainly for IRC chatting, but it works with anything. All I simply do is hold CTRL + ALT + Z and it says what song is playing (I customised it)

[Now playing :: Death - Misanthrope]

That's what it looks like. So all you have to do is write your post, then do the CTRL+ALT+Z (or whatever you assign it to) and it automatically puts it into whatever text box you're typing in. Be it MSN Messenger, IRC, forms on webpages, whatever.

In addition to that you can alos get a plugin that is an image and is connected to your windows Media Player or Real player, or even Quicktime and others.

I prefer to use the Rate The Now Playing Above you thread, you get to see what people think of songs. I think Mourn created it.
