1) The elements in Nightwish are power metal elements. Maybe not the vocals. But the music (which is what it all comes down to)

2) Hahahahahahah

3) So don't put it on a metal board

You're just painting a target on your back....

Ok. If Hardcore isn't metal, why do you want it here. METAL THRONE! See, Metal is in the title of the website! Atleast Nightwish sounds like some kind of metal. And yes, Norma Jean blows. Plain and simple.

No. This is the problem with people who stereotype everything and never fully understand people that like certain things and have their own opinions. People like you disgust me. People don't box themselves in two genres, thats bullshit. The majority of the people on here listen to at least 4 or 5 genres of metal plus more outside of metal. I personally listen to Viking, Folk, Black, Death, Melodic Death, Symphonic Death, Progressive Death, Folk/Viking, Progressive Black, Thrash, Death/Thrash, Power, Progressive, Heavy, Doom/Death, Progressive Rock (some), Classic Rock, and more. Are you calling that not open to any other genres? I listen to nearly evrything that is metal and you're saying I trap myself in a box? By saying what you just said you not only disrespected metal in general, metalheads, and every single person here on this forum.

Thanks for the sugestion but i dont think it will fit in to the scheme of things around here.

I would have to agree that Metal does not include hardcore, and certainly not rock..

Believe it or not though, my playlist consists of everything from nightwish to 1349 to darkthrone to megadeth.. Would this make me biased to one genre? I dont think so. Have a look around and youll see plenty of the members here interacting with all different users who like different genres of metal.

No hard feelings man, hope you understand.

I agree. Isn't Alternitive the same thing as Nu-metal? What about Classic Rock? Should that be on the forum?
Well, not really. There is Alternative Metal, which is the genre that Nu-Metal, etc. falls under. Like Black Metal falls under Extreme Metal. Alterative Metal as a style though is a bit different. It's sort of stuff that's a bit metal, but also rockish and the bands don't really try too hard to be metal. It's stuff that certain metal listeners might dig up sometimes for the odd listen when they can't be bothered listening to anything else. It's sort of Hard-Rockish Metal but it's, well, Alternative. I can be fairly heavy, but sometimes a bit unclean. Do you understand? Lol, probably not.

@Owen: Yeah, I agree with what you say, and a good decision.

I pretty much only like one metalcore band. Between the Buried and Me.
