Im wundering who you think is the best vocalist??

In mainstream metal, its gotta be Dio or Rob Halford, in Death/Black it has to be Shagrath...

Now that has to be one of the most difficult questions of all time!! Vocalists are hard to rate, they give a band it's unique sound, so they're hard to compare...

Give me some time to thank about this one :P

Best vocalist without any question : Attila Cushtar from Mayhem's ''De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas''

Damn.. Im a big Mayhem Fan but the vocals arent the best man.....

You saying Atilla is better than Nocturno Culto?? Hat?? Silenius?? Satyr??

I would even prefer Burzum Lyrics man...

But Still a killer album..

His voice just has this ''something'' Well and his voice is speacial, all the others sound kinda same. He is unique :P And i can't see why everyone likes Dead's vocals, he sucks at ''Live in Leipzig...''
I also like the Guy from ''wigrid'' and sometimes Kanwulf can shout good.

Well I gotta admit that Attilla's singing on that album is pretty impressive and I do like it a lot, although I don't think his vocals are the best. As for extreme metal, I say Varg has an amazing voice, it perfectly suits black metal and I was by it!
So I say Vart is definately on the top 10 of best vocalists, and top 5 black metal vocalists, hmm yeah
