| | Wait on, I think there is a thread just like this one about 'your favourite vocallist' in the General Metal Forum. You might want to lock this thread. Or the other one. |

Or the other one. | This is a "Vocals" section of the forum, so it would be better here. But, most of the members don't even post in this section because they don't even notice that its here.

I think that some members will post here when they see that there are new posts here. Plus, if you lock the other thread, you can tell people that there is one here in the vocals section or give them a link or whatever. But yeah, it's up to you, you're the one with the permissions. |

| | I don't have an actual favorite, because I like every raw black metal voice. Though, I believe Peter Tägtgren from Hypocrisy, The Abyss, Pain and a temporarily role in Bloodbath, is very talented. He has a lot of different voices, and he manage them all perfectly. Everything from various kinds of supreme screams, as those he uses in Hypocrisy and The Abyss, to deep growls as he uses in the new Hypocrisy and used in his temporarily role as the vocalist of Bloodbath, together with a clean voice, as he uses in his one man sideproject Pain. For a long time he have been my favorite, but I've changed my style a bit since then. Another vocalist I like, and comes close to a favorite, has to be danish Ynleborgaz from Angantyr, Tågefolket, Make a Change... Kill Yourself, Holmgang and Zahrim. |

| | My personal favorite vocalist is Tool's Maynard James Keenan... This man's persona is unique.
My second favourite vocalist is Johan Edlund of Tiamat. Deep gothic voice.

| | I'd have to mention Devin Townsend, he manages alot of different stuff. Screams, many kinds of clean singing, kinda operatic vocals too, and he's a master at arranging different vocal tracks over each other so they work together, it's a bit hard to explain.
I don't listen THAT much to his stuff anymore, but he's an excellent vocalist, and I look forward to his "Ziltoid the Omniscient" project, it's said to be a mix of Strapping, DTB and Punky Brüster, and it seems to be filled with his wellknown humour.
He sang and played all instruments on the Ziltoid album, except the drums, those he programmed himself in the Drumkit From Hell programme. So basically it's an all-Devin project, should be good.. He's pretty much a perfectionist I think, and alot of the stuff he makes alone is the best.
