I've been doing death metal on my guitar and also vocals. I do things like clean vocals, growls, and screams but have never been told how do warm up my voice. I usually use a coughdrop afterwords or some honey tea but how do you warm up???

I drink a cup of water then just go for it.

I just drink something so that my throat is smooth. Sometimes I'll death grunt along to a slow song too.
