I do some death metal growls and some clean soft vocals. Just like Opeth :P

For me, being a vocalist a 3 different bands (all three different styles) I've been able to develop my own style, which, in my opinion crosses between Tomas Lindberg (At the Gates) and Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth) with some metalcore(ish) influences in there... mainly because that is how my natural scream sounds...

My vocal style is divided into 3, my main stlye is a sort of high pitched rasp, then I have a sort of lower grunt/rasp and finally I have a proper high pitched
scream not unlike early Cradle Of Filth but more high pitched (I can also sing while screaming which I'm proud of)

i have multiple techniques, and i am still trying to find what i prefer to use. i have a standard scream, death growls, and deep gutteral growls, yelling style vocals ( thrash style such as slayer...) inhale pig vocals, deep to high pitched, and shreiking vocals, mid to low preditor vocals mainly used as a fill in. im trying to lear some old school hm/ power style clean vocals, and i have a good clean singing voice.

When I did vocals for my band I used a very scratchy kind of yell. Our new vocalist soudns a lot like Jeff Walker to me.

I usually do gutturals like old Glen Benton, though I can do the Black Metal screeches and all of that stuff, I usually don't cause I'm not really big on it.
