Dave Lombardo, Mike Portnoy, Nicholas Barker, Tim Yeung from Vital Remains...he's awesome on DeChristianized!!! Chris Adler from Lamb of God, he's not really a fantastic drummer but I like his simple but catchy drum playing.

I like Vinny Paul too... really not that technical but he has a cool style...he adds a lot to the music. He's probably good for a novice Metal drummer.
