Yeah I know of a few. But the main thing to remember is, a drum machine/software is only as good as the sounds its using (ie. samples).

I recommend Drumkit From Hell, an expansion for EZDrummer. Easy to use.

Or try Acoustica Beatcraft. Works a bit different, like most drum machines.

there is a free version and a premium
the free version is fantastic and the only draw back is that you can only record one track where as the premium has the capability of recording up to 32,
also its MIDI features are absolutely fantastic!
it has piano, drums, orcestras and much more, and its free.

its a pretty good piece of software

Hm, that looks pretty good. Reminds me of Guitar Pro (though not as detailed). But I assume it doesn't use actual Drum samples, just MIDI sounds, like in GP? Or do they sample drums?

Adobe audition is what the pros use, it is very pricey at almost $1000 but you can find cracked versions out there.

Wrong. The pros use ProTools, Logic, and Cubase. I don't think anyone uses Audition in a professional context, it just isn't a good enough program.

My recording application of choice is Reaper... Cheap, free to try out indefinitely, and easy to use. It sounds good as well, and the ReaPlugs that come with it are excellent.

As for drum programs, there are a few that get great reviews.

I recently got Superior 2.0, and it is FANTASTIC. Definitely the best sounding drum sampler I've ever used.
