Angry Annoying sound from strings, help =[

Hi d00dz, this is my 2nd post ^_^
Anyway, when I plug my guitar into my amp, turn it up, put distortion on etc, and start playing, on the thickest strings normally when I'm doing power chords, when I move my fingers from one note to another I hear an annoying sound which is pretty hard to explain, but you can tell that my fingers are sliding up the strings. But if I press down, it's just a slide technique so there's no point in telling me to do that. Do I need to lift my fingers off completely when I move across the fretboard, or is there an easier way?

EDIT : Oh crap was this meant for the questions board? If it was, move this, and I'll learn xD

Thats Just A Normal Sound

Its Just That Your Lifting Your Fingers And Therefor It Makes A Scratch Noise But If You Just Let Them Slide Across The Fret Board You Should Be Fine

How Long Have You Played Guitar For?
