I'd say Maniac, even if most would disagree. He was the most experimental out of the three, and i like all the spoken word stuff he did on a grand declaration of war.

Dead is more hype and mythos than anything else. He might have been a great vocalist, but there is very little int he way of evidence to suggest so remaining.

Attila is pretty good though.

who knows, it might be true. but i would imagine i'd heard of it before, people im the bm comutiy in bergen all know each other, so we have a lot of time to gossip about who did what in the old days.

But we dont speak much about the early 90's annymore, so i might have missed it.

I suppose it could be true, but logically it doesn't make much sense. Why would Varg buy Dead shotgun shells as a present? Who does that?

Plus it does sound liek the sort of thing someone might make up because if it was true it would increase the fear and mythos surrounding the Black Metal scene.

well, theres not much fear surrounding the bm scene now. but when i was younger anny bm,ers in norway would be harrassed by the police and media for nothing. i must admit that there was some of us (me included) that wore blue jeans and spikefree jackets the days after varg went postal.
