Immortal, actually. Then I got into Venom...Bathory...Darkthrone...etc.
Darkthrone was the band hat Really got me to dedicate my life to black metal.

uhh i think it was behemoth. then i got into mayhem and then i wasnt all that into black metal for a while then last year i started getting into more like anaal nathrakh, burzum, emperor, immortal, 1349, gorgoroth, naglfar and a few others

I started with the more folkish or Viking black metal like Windir and Bathory. I like it all now.

Dimmu Borgir (A friend said progenies is good so I listened to it) I sorta thought it wasn't bad, but like a year after that I heard some Immortal, and immediately I was converted (prior to this I was into power metal lol)

venom if you class them as black metal, if not it would be darkthrone, my mate was playing it in work, i didnt know who it was but it was cool, if thats not counted then it would be cradle*couhh, mumble*
