Default Dimmu Borgir

I just noticed that there isn't a topic about this band...

no need for the interduction, you all know them
let's hear your opinions...

as for me, one of my fav bands (at least their older stuff)...
IMO the best is Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, and I also love Spiritual Black Dimension...

My favorite would have to be PEM, the drumming on this album is amazing. The older stuff is good too. I think that the band just evolved by incorporating symphonics in their music, they do it very well. In fact, some of the best symphonic black metal tracks are made by them (I am still amazed by "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse").

The touched DIMMU BORGIR album entitled "Death Cult Armageddon".

The CD, which currently was mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, it contain the following tracks:
1 Allegiance
2 Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse
3 Lepers Among Us
4 Vredesbyrd
5 For The World To Dictate Our Death
6 Blood Hunger Doctrine
7 Allehelgens Dшd I Helveds Rike
8 Cataclysm Children
9 Eradication Instincts Defined
10 Unorthodox Manifesto
11 Heavenly Perverse
The band has also recorded a cover version of BATHORY's "Satan My Master" which will be used for the ltd. digipack edition. In other news, DIMMU BORGIR are in talks with CHILDREN OF BODOM, NEVERMORE and HYPOCRISY about teaming up for a North American tour between November 8 and December 16.However,i think it could be better when they stop their career, cause i have concluded in the recent album they have any talent. As you may have heard before they are having a huge orchestra in studio at the moment they are negotiating with two big east European orchestras, nothing is decided yet. Before recording the recent album they have said "the Album will be hotter than hell with a big orchestra, surprises and the usual quality that can be expect from Dimmu Borgir".But personally i have'nt conculed that.i think that Dimmu Borgir's crew are overconfident, and they have'nt amazed us with goodness or perfection because they are merely over and over bad.

they deserve to be hated. they sold out and just copy cradle as a way of cashing in. their image is more like cradle now, and they released some t-shirts that say 'cunt hunters of the night' on the back. doesn't get much more teeny-goth-poser than that.

cradle still have some dignity on the basis that despite selling out, they're still a decent band.

Great....Dimmu Borgir will hit studio in early March 2003 and they expect they will use about 2 months in the studio recording the new album. They have already 9 songs ready and they will write additional 2-3 songs before they start recording like what has CRADLE done. They start rehearsing the new songs. All of Cradle's activities such as composing, remastering and remixing was and still taken by D.B.Moreover,If you get a look per whole of dimmu single you will conclude As previously reported, the EP will include four new songs, a sequel to “Black Goddess”, entitled simply "Black Goddess 2- Ebon Nemesis", as well as re-recordings of "The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh" and "Summer Dying Fast".to resume,if cradle want to stop their career, dimmu will stop too.Personally,i think that they should cry for mercy to Cradle.
