2. Summoning- Across The Streaming Tide
3. Nokturnal Mortum- Goat Horns
4. Gorgoroth- UNchain My Heart
5. Satyricon- the Dawn Of A New Age

5 Best:

Here's my top 5

Gorgoroth - "Maanskyggen's Slave" -- Simple, but raw as hell and relentless, and with Hat's insane vocals delivering pure damnation.

Emperor - "Into the Infinity of Thoughts" -- This song is one of the most incredible introductions to an album that I have ever heard. Rich, diverse, almost orchestral, without sacrificng its intensity.

Bathory - "Blood, Fire & Death" -- A classic. 'Nuff said.

1349 - "From the Deeps" -- Stunningly violent, almost hypnotic. I kinda dig krakens, too.

Arkhon Infaustus - "M33 Constellation" -- Kinda black/death, but an almost perfect song.
