Led by two mastermind (Eric Hoffman [1987-2004] and Brian Hoffman [1987-2004]),they was the former of Deicide thus they have left the band due of The final product. It more than justifies those long , the doubts and the desperation.the new Deicide can't hold the way of melody lines sound purer and they can get worn out.Personally,i think that The production process was hard and demanding with the ex-guitarist.

ANOTHER JOINS THE GROWING HORDES OF METAL FORUMS! And a good place for a first post, too.

AH, YES.

Deicide.

Lately, some of our younger death metal fans have gotten the idea into their heads that ... What? Deicide? Oh, nothing special...!

Disgraceful! Preposterous!

Deicide are masters of their craft, and always will be. Lately people have been forsaking Glen Benton as a vocalist merely because he is a hypocritic asshole in real life!

Well, I say his personality is completely irrelevant when on the subject of his talent! And yes, I, too, have made the comparison between Benton's double- and triple-tracked vocals and a bloodthirsty choir of demons! The metaphoric likeness is uncanny!

Almost every Deicide release has been tremendous! Though as individuals each member is nothing special, together they are DEICIDE, a force to be reckoned with!

MY FAVORITE DEICIDE ALBUMS: Legion, Scars of the Crucifix
MY FAVORITE DEICIDE TRACKS: Behead the Prophet (No Lord Shall Live), In Hell I Burn, Revocate the Agitator, Mad at God, Scars of the Crucifix, When Heaven Burns

I just got Scars Of The Crucifix and I must say that the album really rules.Wicked solos......i never thought Deicide could get as technical as they were in Legion....maybe they have done it with SOTC

the band realized it took too much of their attention to work on the lyrics, ultimately neglecting the songwriting itself.

deicide is a great death metal band , the vocal could've been better without doubling or tripling the vocals sounding more evil and more satanic the vocals would've been better in the new albums without doubling/tripling i really like the drumming of asheim . the drums of the first album was great too bad now the Hoffman brothers left deicide i guess if glen would focus more on Vital Remains (joined in 2003 and made the last album Dechristianize) it'll be better and disband deicide i can't imagine them without the hoffman brothers making new albums

Favourite Album : Self-Tittled/Legion
Favourite Song : Sacrificial Suicide
Favourite Member(s) : Hoffmans
favourite lineup : none other then the original one

I can't remember who at the moment, but they do have two new guitarrists and plans for a new album.

So ... we'll see what happens!
