Yeah, sorry. I'll have to totally disagree with that!

I don't see any of the Swedish bands I listed in any way resemble Power Metal!

ummmm, how can i explain this......

the way they go about writing their leads and riffs.
i notice similarity's in some PM bands and MDM bands.

swedish death! mind you, there are a lot of bands doing that style justice in other countries. for instance, a band called UNIVERSUM from Australia have a great sound. worked with Jens Bogren (Soilwork/OPETH) for their album.

Other countries have great BM and melodic death, but for straight death metal, America definitly wins

yeah some swedish bands are really good... but american death metal is way better hahaha morbid angel,death,deicide,cannible corpse,suffocation,skinless,cattle decapitation, to name a few... the only decent death metal from swedan is dismember,behemoth,insision...

Why do we have to compare? That's gay. Both scenes are awesome for the simple fact that they both greatly contributed to death metal.
