Metallica thread

I've just been through and I've noticed there isn't a Metallica thread. There is a "I hate Metallica" thread but nothing as a thread dedicated to the better side of the band.

I love Kill 'em all the best and I love everything up to ...And Justice for all.

I have just got my tickets to see them at the O2 Arena in London in the middle of September.

I am hoping the new album is going to be a vast improvement on the last few. I've read good reviews and I'm sure the band must be realising that the fans are turning away as they want a return to the early years.

Many people like the black album but for me this was ruined due to the production of the album made it sound more like a Queen album than a thrash album. There were to many soft numbers too. Everything after this I just laughed at. I think the fame went to their heads and they lost that raw experience that powered them in the beginning.

Many people liked the tour that they did with the orchestra but I was like WTF.

Yea, same here, except AJFA is my fav. I'm a die hard oldschool MetallicA fan.

I tend to listen more to the old metallica, but I like everything they made (yes...even St. Anger) and the new album is kick-arse!
