I love the solos in that song. In Rude Awakening right?

True Friedman and Menza were the best thing that ever happened to Megadeth other than them forming that is
Yeah man, the Rude Awakening version

one thing i can't get is why lotsa guys hate "countdown to extinction"..even though, imo, its one of the best albums they made..

I think the quality on the album is bad. But still its a great album and shouldn't be overlooked just because of that. I agree with you on the lineup, except I like DeGrasso more than Poland. Thats why my fave lineups are: Mustaine, Ellefson, Menza, Friedman and Mustaine, Ellefson, DeGraso, Pitrelli

Whats your favorite song(s)?
You must mean you perfer Pitrelli over Poland

I think if I had to chose a favorite mix of Past and Present Deth members, it would go like so:

Dave Mustaine (guitars,voc)
Marty Friedman (guitars)
James MacDonough (Bass)
Gar Samualson (Drums)

Actually even thought they play different instruments I prefer DeGrasso over Poland its kinda strange. I also have something against Poland.

Mine would be:

Mustaine
Friedman
Ellefson
Too tough to decide for drummer, I like Samualson, Menza, DeGrasso, and I don't mind Shawn Drover but then again he is the worst drummer they had despite him being an okay drummer.

poland's work with megadeth was impressive, but somehow,i believe friedman is at a different level altogether..
although, poland really kicked ass with the "damn the machine" album..damn,that album was something.

Is that his solo stuff? Anyway Friedman is a better guitarist but Poland has more experience

Before the appearance of Marty Friedman via many extravaganzas solo, megadeth was'nt among Some bands whom play music for the sake of a "nice" tune, a "nice" melody or purely for the sake of playing. Some other bands play because it is in their blood, their culture, their history and folklore and life would not be the same without it... Marty Friedman has "rebuilt" those quality per megadeth and became one of these bands.friedman was always responsible for all artwork and the release for the latest album from 1988 to 1998.Dave will never find a guitar player as friedman, really he has lost him!
