Default Dream Evil-United

"United" is Dream Evil's fourth studio album and it's also the first time without drummer Snowy Shaw and guitarist Gus G. Most would think this would effect the band dramatically, but it doesn't. Pat Power and Mark Black are equally as good, so the power of the band remains the same. This time around the band seems to be more on the serious than their previous efforts. The material isn't as "cheesey".

Is this Dream Evil's best album? In my opinion, no, "The Book of Heavy Metal" still has it's number. That doesn't mean this album is bad. As a matter of fact "United" is far from it. The vocal work of Niklas Isfeldt is stronger than ever and the lyrics are nicely written.

I hope the band continues this process, and I'm looking forward to their future albums. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Best Tracks: "United, Evilized, "Let Me Out, and My Number One."

Disappointments: "Blind Evil, Kingdom At War, and Doomlord."

Great album indeed.

But i would switch Kingdom At War with My Number One.
