Tool sucks donkey nuts. How talented to you have to be to play Tool? I find it some of the slowest most boring rock I've ever heard. No "skill" whatsoever. If you wanna talk two guitarist, talk about K.K Downing and Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest. Now thier's a metal duo. |
I tottaly dissagree with you. Tool may sound "boring" at first and that's what I was saying about them in the first place, but you need to explore them in order to see their true magic. They explore various soundscapes and have deep concepts in their songs, but again, you have to 'dig in' and hear their music while reading their lyrics. If your hear their new album, "10,000 Days", I believe that you will understand what I mean.
It's all about the
composing skill and not the "talent", if you mean it with the Malmsteen way of talent (120 notes in 1 minute).
