Opeth.
Well, probably not, but I think they come up with some pretty amazing stuff.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh... no.

Tool sucks donkey nuts. How talented to you have to be to play Tool? I find it some of the slowest most boring rock I've ever heard. No "skill" whatsoever. If you wanna talk two guitarist, talk about K.K Downing and Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest. Now thier's a metal duo.
I tottaly dissagree with you. Tool may sound "boring" at first and that's what I was saying about them in the first place, but you need to explore them in order to see their true magic. They explore various soundscapes and have deep concepts in their songs, but again, you have to 'dig in' and hear their music while reading their lyrics. If your hear their new album, "10,000 Days", I believe that you will understand what I mean.

It's all about the composing skill and not the "talent", if you mean it with the Malmsteen way of talent (120 notes in 1 minute).

That sounds impossible! :D (couldn't resist it, sorry)

I also prefer careful compositions over performance skills. Communic and Agalloch are good examples of what I mean.

Im not a fan of Tool. Far too slow for me, and the stop start with bass and drumming actually bores me quite a bit. Skill? Maybe.

But nowhere near the league of bands such as Judas Priest(as mentioned), and other classics.

Each to there own though. If you like Tool, thats great.

Well, I don't know much about this, but to create a flow to your music like Drudkh does, I think you need to cooperate with the other bandmembers pretty well.
